Sierra
Pacific Properties, Inc., is owned by brothers Albert Seeno Jr. and Tom Seeno.
Established in the 1950's, the Seeno's have a longstanding reputation as one of
the premier homebuilders in the San Francisco Bay Area, having built and sold
over 30,000 homes. Development of income properties started in the late 1970's
and flourished in the 80’s After a hiatus for most of the 90’s, new project
development recommenced in the late 90’s and continues now at a steady pace.
Sierra Pacific was established in 1988 to provide professional asset
management services for the income properties owned by the Seeno family. Sierra
Pacific has provided these services for a portfolio of up to 5.0 million square
feet. Sierra Pacific is a fully integrated company experienced in all aspects of
real estate development, property management, leasing, construction management,
and finance.
In 1995 a strategic decision was made to divest
out-of-state assets, leaving a current portfolio of 1.1 million square feet of
retail space, 840,000 square feet of office space, 270,000 square feet of
industrial space and over 900 units of multi-family. The portfolio is
concentrated in Northern California, and more specifically, within Eastern
Contra Costa County where the company is one of the largest owners of income
properties. Sierra Pacific also manages 250,000 square feet of retail space on a
fee basis for third party owners. In short, Sierra Pacific thinks as an owner
with the same goals as the owner: reduce operating costs, improve revenues,
minimize liability claims, and provide accurate, meaningful
reporting. |
